A bequest from the Estate of Mary T. and William T. Kelleher and a significant gift from the Tina and Richard V. Carolan Foundation helped further neurological care at Morristown Medical Center in 2023.

Darren Siker Adult Epilepsy Program Fund

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, around 3.4 million people in the United States have epilepsy, making it one of the most common neurological diseases today. Morristown Medical Center’s multidisciplinary team, comprised of highly specialized neurologists, neurosurgeons, nurses, technologists and more, provides advanced care for patients with a seizure disorder. Established in 2023 with a generous donation from Trish O’Keefe, PhD, RN, in honor of her late husband, the Darren Siker Adult Epilepsy Program Fund will help drive crucial program growth, enabling the medical center to continue to provide the highest level of care possible for this important patient population.
