fund highlights
  • Donor contributions to the Women’s Health Fund in 2024 will provide funding for the future purchase of the PeriWatch Vigilance, an automated maternal-fetal early warning system.

This artificial intelligence-based system improves the care and outcomes of both mother and baby by supporting clinical decision-making and safety during labor and delivery. It uses AI and analytical techniques to continuously monitor maternal vital signs and other clinical data to identify potential issues and abnormalities earlier, consistently and quickly for faster intervention. Early intervention enables clinicians to reduce avoidable fetal neurologic injuries and pregnancy-related deaths.

  • The Women’s Clinic at Morristown Medical Center provides the highest level of obstetric, gynecological and prenatal care for women who lack access to these health services due to insurance or economic circumstances.

It is a full-service charity care program that offers comprehensive medical services to underserved women of all ages at no cost. It also provides patients with access to essential services within Morristown Medical Center, including cardiology, oncology and behavioral health, which are complex and challenging to navigate on one’s own. Because most of these patients lack access to health care, the Women’s Health Clinic fills the gap and serves as a vital medical home.

Women’s Clinic Fund initiatives at Morristown Medical Center are made possible through the support of the DeLuca Family Foundation, Courtney and Richard Stieglitz, the Women’s Health Philanthropy Council and many others.

program highlight
  • Thanks to generous donations from the Women’s Association of Morristown Medical Center and others, this program is improving postpartum medical support.

The Women’s Association raised $150,000 at their Ode to Color event hosted at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, NJ to benefit postpartum health. This generous donation will help the Women’s Health team to help at-risk, underserved women in the community and to enable a smooth healthcare transition from pregnancy to postpartum.
